Yamaha CP88/73 Stage Piano

The CP88 has the same keybed as it’s predecessor the CP4 and I have to say that out of all he keyboard actions that I’ve tried, this is the one I like best. But having said this, I prefer the sounds of the Korg Kronos and the Roland RD2000 more, but you may disagree as it’s all subjective.

The 73 version has a different keybed which is equally weight throughout, rather than graduated - I don’t like this as much.

The layout of this board is very much like the Nords with the pianos, electric pianos and other instruments in three separate sections.

Without doubt this is a great stage piano. If I could get away with having a keyboard in every room, this would be one of them!
